OUR MISSION: DBSA provides hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders.
Sarah is the Founder/ President of DBSA Aloha Honolulu. After being diagnosed with Bipolar II and General Anxiety Disorder, she searched everywhere to find a local support group to attend while she also attended her once a week therapy sessions. She eventually came upon DBSA and changed her life forever. She is a published blogger with Your Tango , Stigma Fighters, and Psych Central. She has lived in Honolulu for fourteen years, and has come to love the island as her home. When she’s not advocating for mental health awareness, she can be found; photographing, hiking, SUP’ing, traveling around the globe, reading tarot and tea leaves, and painting.
